[001] – Central Station – AD1899 –

Before we go on our tour, let's stop at that McDonalds and have something to eat along with a "kop koffie" (a cup of coffee) or "een kopje thee" (a cup of tea). Ah, that was good.  OK, here we go!
Designed by P. J. Cuypers (who also designed "Het Rijksmuseum") and A. L.  van Gendt (who designed "Het Concertgebouw"), "het Centraal Station" is an awesome 920ft long and 92ft wide!  The tower on the right of the entrance building features a clock;  the tower on the left, a wind direction indicator.
